Week 3 We are all different

This week we read the story 'We are all welcome', we looked at ourselves in the mirrors and spoke about what colour our skin and hair is. We looked at each other to see who had similarities and who had differences. The children then had the opportunity to have a go at drawing themselves, looking at their facial features and skin colour. 

In maths the children have been looking at colours, identifying them and trying to find things that match. They had a go at matching pictures and objects with the same colour. 

Over the week we have been enjoying the nicer weather, practising our balancing skills outside and creating some potions using rosemary and water. 

In PE the children were moving in different ways, and channelling their inner animal to move around the hall. Every time they heard stop, they had to freeze.
