Our class is a family

This week we have read the book Or class is a family. We spoke about the different families we have at home and how we are a family at school. The children each coloured a leaf to represent themselves and to be a part of a class family tree. In maths the children had to continue sorting out objects into category's that they choose. They did a great job at matching the wellies back up after finding them in a pile in the classroom. Lots of cutting skills have been practised this week using different objects and materials including spaghetti hair! The children gave the person a great new hair style.
