Week 6 Funny bones

This week e have been reading the story Funny bones. We danced and sang to the song Dem bones https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e54m6XOpRgU moving our body parts to the music. The children got to make skeleton pictures with cotton buds and pva or could cut and stick to make a skeleton. We looked at pictures of x-rays to try and identify the body parts. In maths we looked at the number 1 - what it looks like, how we count it, can we make it? There were some great number 1's. The children collaged a number one, found some number 1 ducks in the "pond". 

In PE we moved around the hall in different ways, practising our balancing skills by walking, bottom/tummy sliding, jumping and side walking along the benches.
