Week 7 That's my new friend

This week we read That's my new friend. We spoke about how we feel at school and how we can be happy. We thought about how we make friends and what we can do to be a good friend. The children made their friends a friendship bracelet and a picture of something they liked. The children also took photos with friends of their choosing. 

In maths we focussed on the number 2, recognising it, finding it in the classroom, making it and counting it. 

Alongside this we have also been looking at Autumn, exploring Autumnal objects like pine cones, conkers, different coloured leaves and pumpkins. The children were very strong in lifting the larger pumpkin, they used magnifying glasses to notice the markings and colours on them too.
