Celebrate: Advent Wreath.

Live: Celebrate Advent, it is a time to get ready for Christmas.

This week we looked at getting ready for Christmas, through the time of Advent. We learnt that Advent means coming. We are waiting for the arrival of baby Jesus. The children shared how they get ready at home for Christmas and what we do as part of the church and being Catholic. We looked at the Advent calendar and how we will use it as a countdown to Christmas and what an Advent wreath is. The children created their own Advent wreaths for Christmas. We also looked at how the colour purple is a representative of Advent.
