Week 13 Advent

Live: Celebrate Advent, it is a time to get ready for Christmas. Celebrate: Advent Wreath.

This week we learnt about Advent. Advent is the waiting for the arrival of Baby Jesus, we thought about the things we do to get ready for this.  We looked at advent calendars and discussed what things we had at home to get ready for Christmas. We looked at a Christmas wreath and the colours of the candles and their meanings. The children created their own Advent wreath.
