Where the Poppies now grow

This week we remembered all the soldiers and people that lost their lives. We read a story and looked at the pictures of what it might have been like in the war. We spoke about how people might have felt  at the time and how we feel about it now. The children got to make Poppies as a sign of remembrance, we then made these into a wreath.

In maths, we have been looking at patterns, seeing what we can find and creating repeating patterns using them.

We visited Forest school for the first time together, we visited all areas of the Forest and spoke about the rules to keep us safe. The children had great fun exploring the paths and off the paths. We climbed trees and practised our gross motor skills navigating our way through.

We had odd sock day on Tuesday for anti-bullying, several children came in with odd socks to show their participation.
