Week 11 The world of jobs

This week we looked at different jobs we could do as a grown up. We also looked at photos of jobs that we see locally - we discussed what things we might do in the different roles. The children dressed up in some costumes to role play different jobs, they had a go at matching the person to an item they need to use.

In maths the children had a busy week recapping all the things they had been learning about over the last few weeks. They practiced their counting skills, creating patterns, recognising numbers and naming shapes.

Our role play area changed to a shop, children have been selling and buying toys and food to one another over the week. We had our first snow of the year so we recreated a snow scene in the tuff spot for children to explore.

The children also got to start their Christmas tree decoration to sell at the Christmas Fair.
