Owl babies

This week we read Owl babies, we thought about how they might have felt when they saw their Mum was missing. We linked it to how we feel when our parents go out somewhere or when we come to school. The children sequenced the story and role played it using puppets.

We were unable to go to the forest so instead we had hot chocolate and biscuits inside. 

In maths we started to look at the number 4, recognising, writing and counting it. The children painted a number 4 and counted, cut and stick 4 stockings on their washing line. 

In the afternoon we got to see Santa, we gave him a high 5 and told him something we would like for Christmas.
