The Gruffalo's child
This week we welcomed the new children into Snowflakes. Some of the older children befriended the new children showing them where things are in the classroom, playing with them and modelling good choices.
We read The Gruffalo's child, talking about the setting, what animals are in the story and why everyone is scared of the big bad mouse.
In maths we sang some counting rhymes, using our fingers to represent the numbers and to take away and add numbers.
