1,2,3 do the dinosaur
This week we continued reading 1,2,3 do the dinosaur. We went on a dinosaur hunt around the classroom and ticked off the ones we found. We also did some dinosaur cosmic yoga, using muscles in our body to create different poses. There was a dinosaur slime swamp for the children to explore - it was very sticky and gooey. As part of our science, we did a volcano experiment - thinking about the environments that dinosaurs used to live around. We used bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to create an eruption. We also tried the coke and mentos experiment to see if we could get a bigger explosion.
In maths we looked at the composition of number 5. Counting different objects and seeing the different ways we could make it.
