The big freeze

This week we read The Big freeze, we spoke about the different seasons and what they are like, what we would wear and things we would do. The children created their own jumpers that they would like to wear. They also cut and stick items of clothing that they would take with them to either a sunny or cold destination. We also explored ice - what it feels like, what happens when we hold it or it melts. 

In maths we looked at height, who is taller or shorter, what can we fins in our environment that is tall or short.

We also had our first stay and play of 2025, it was lovely to see so many parents join.
