Mr Wolf's Pancakes
This week we read Mr Wolf's pancakes, we discussed why Mr Wolf's neighbours didn't want to help him, and what ingredients we need to make pancakes. The children retold the story using puppets, cut and stick some toppings on pancakes and tasted a pancake with a traditional topping of lemon and sugar.
In maths we looked at length, finding things that are long and short and then comparing them. This carried onto the forest where children found sticks to compare.
