Week 10 Who sank the boat?

This week we read the book Who sank the boat? The children predicted throughout the story who they thought sank the boat and why. The children were able to create their own boats and test whether they would float or sink. They also tested some items from the classroom to see if they would float or sink. 

In maths, we looked at patterns. We looked at the artist Kandinsky and his squares with concentric circles. The children were able to recreate their own versions to create a large class one. 

Outside the children have been explorers in the garden, searching for bugs and identifying them.
