Nursery Spring 2 Week 2 Lent

This week we started to think about Lent. What is Lent, why do we give up something for Lent? The children explored the colour purple through a range of different resources and textures as well as painting pictures with different shades of purple. Over the week we also looked out for signs of Spring; new leaves growing on trees, buds beginning to form and baby birds or squirrels we can see.
