Week 8

To understand what Shrove Tuesday is for. To understand what is Ash Wednesday

This week we discussed what special days are happening this week, we learnt what Shrove Tuesday is for. The children explored the ingredients to make make pancakes, the children got to taste some pancake with a choice of their topping, and cut and stick their own pancake toppings.

The next day we then looked at what Ash Wednesday is, the Priest came to the classroom for the children to receive their ashes if they wanted to.
