World Book Day

This week we celebrated World Book Day, the children had a go at creating their own books, shared carpet time by all reading a book and had a visit from year 5 who came to read the children their favourite stories that they brough in to share.

In maths we explored capacity, filling and emptying pots, pans and cups. The children used this in lots of different areas to practise.

We had a visit from the HCL team who does the cooking for the school. They read a story - The very hungry caterpillar and then created a colourful caterpillar with a range of different vegetables and fruits.
