The little mouse, the red ripe strawberry and the big hungry bear

This week we read The little mouse, the red ripe strawberry and the big hungry bear. The children had a go at cutting out and sequencing the story with 4 pictures. They also got to role play with some teddies from the story. 

In maths we continued the sequencing and thought about the order in which we would make a sandwich. Each child got to make a sandwich deciding what comes first - bread, then butter, next the filling of ham, jam or cheese and then to put it together. They enjoyed the process of making as well as eating it at the end.
