1,2,3 do the dinosaur

This week we continued to read 1,2,3 do the dinosaur, the children enjoyed exploring more dinosaurs in the dinosaur swamp, We went on a dinosaur hunt in the classroom due to the bad weather outside, the children ticked off a dinosaur as they found them. Some were very tricky to see! We did an experiment after thinking about where dinosaurs live and there might have been active volcanoes, we used vinegar and bicarbonate of soda to create an eruption of red just like we'd see in a volcano.

To support our gross motor and strength the children did some dinosaur cosmic yoga, this was very calming and we learnt lots of new poses.
