Week 4

The parish church. We gather with friends at church, especially on Sunday

 

This week we listened to Acts 2: 42-47, about how the early church was formed. We spoke about how we have a home family, school family and church family. The children gave examples of who might be in these different types of families. They also thought about what things we do with these families - are any of the things the same? There was a cross over in families when we talked about our school family being part of the church family, we pray together, share and care for each other.

Each child drew a picture of themselves, these were then positioned together to create a church.
