Week 5 The church

Hear: How the church was formed.

Live: The parish church. We gather with friends at church, especially on Sunday.

Celebrate: The parish church is a special place where we meet our friends. We sing and say prayers.

This week we recapped Jesus ascending to Heaven and sending the Holy Spirit after he had gone. We heard about how the church was formed and what that looked like then compared to now. We looked at pictures of our 2 local Catholic churches and some important parts inside them. 

The children created their own churches using construction materials and drew a picture of themselves to create a church school family.
