RE week 3

Hear: Mary Magdalene went to see Jesus and Jesus went to visit the Disciples.

This week we read the story of Mary Magdalene coming to visit the place where Jesus was resting. We discussed how she felt when she realised Jesus was not there and when he then appeared to her. We then went on in the story to Jesus visiting his friends and Thomas not believing Jesus had risen as he had not seen or touched him. This led to thinking about how we believe in Jesus in our hearts even though we have not seen or touched him. When Jesus visited his friends he said “Peace be with you”, we talked about how we say this in church to others, letting them know that God is with them.
