Week 3 and 4 The Holy Spirit

Hear: He sent a special friend, the Holy Spirit, to look after us. Believe: The Holy Spirit is our friend. The Holy Spirit looks after us.

We heard about Jesus’ friend the Holy Spirit that he promised would come to the Apostles. The Holy Spirit would help the Apostles continue with the job Jesus had left them to tell everyone that Jesus loves us. We heard that when the Holy Spirit arrived a gust of wind blew through the room, a flame appeared over their heads and they were able to speak all languages. The children created wind with their mouths and blew bubbles, they made a hat with a flame on and we learnt how to say love in all the languages in our class.
