Under the same sky

This week we read the story of under the same sky, we looked at the animals in the story and spoke about where we think they might live in the world. We thought about how animals across the world, even far away live under the same sky as us. The children picked their favourite animal and had a go at drawing it.

In maths we looked at what comes before? The children picked a number and said what comes before it. They identified numbers and stuck the numicon amount with it. 

The children had fun exploring forest school and being able to free play.

 We had lots of fun making musical instruments as part of phonics, lots of different materials were used to create different sounds.

There was lots of outdoor fun and water play to help keep cool in the hot weather,
