Under the same sky

This week we read the story of under the same sky, we looked at the animals in the story and spoke about where we think they might live in the world. We thought about how animals across the world, even far away live under the same sky as us. The children picked their favourite animal and had a go at drawing it.

In maths we looked at capacity. Using vocabulary to describe whether something was empty, half full/empty or full.

The children had fun exploring forest school and being able to free play.

Our butterflies also came out of their chrysalises. We got to watch them fly and eat for a few days, before releasing them in the garden.
