Heritage week
This week we learnt about the country England as part of Heritage week. The children got to recreate the England flag, hear and see some different London landmarks. They made paper cup telephones and cut and stick their own double decker red bus.
We also had afternoon tea in our groups with a choice of orange or blackcurrant tea, a finger sandwich, piece of cake and scone with jam. They used their mugs to drink very carefully!
On the Friday, the children came to school in clothes to represent their heritage, this involved cultural dress and colours of their flag.
