Week 4 Errol's garden

This week we read the story of Errol's garden, we talked about what sort of building Errol lived in as well as his different friends and family. We explored some different fruits and vegetables, talking about their colours and if they were hard or soft. We also used these for some printing. 

In maths we looked at a map of Little Red Riding Hood and how she could get to her Granny's house. We used language to describe the different routes she could take. We then had a discussion about the things we see on our way to school, do we go past any shop? Round a roundabout? Through a tunnel or under an under pass. 

The weather has been so lovely this week, we have spent most of our time outside enjoying it, playing in the sand and water. Using the swing and creating some natural artwork using sticks as brushes.
