Week 5 Flower Bouquets

This week we looked at different types of flowers. We spoke about their different parts and what they look like. Each group drew and labelled their own flowers. We also discussed and thought about the life cycle of some plants and flowers. How they start from a seed and grow. We went outside to look at some seeds we had grown a few weeks ago to see how they were doing and if we needed to do more to help them. 

In maths we looked at the concept or more than and less than. Giving the children opportunities in their play to see which or who had more or less and why?

We did PE in the garden, practising our team work along with throwing skills. This led to an opportunity to see who had more to win.
