School Dinners
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school lunch each day.
The following fees are from the 17th April 2023
If your child is in Years 3-6 and you wish them to have school lunches, the cost will be £15.75 per week (5 x £3.15 a day). School lunches need to be paid for in advance on the School Grid.
Nursery children that would like to stay for lunch club or whom stay to all day nursery, and would like a lunch, the cost will be £2.45 a day, (£12.25 per week) . Please book and pay in advance through the School Grid.
We are a cashless school and ask that all payments are made via the School Grid (a link can also be found on the home page of this website). If you are experiencing difficulties paying through the School Grid please contact the School Office.
School lunches are cooked daily in our kitchen and the menu is below.
If your child requires a special menu due to medical or cultural/ religious reasons, these can be catered for by making an application online via Hertfordshire Catering Limited (as per their terms and conditions). Please follow this link https://hcl.co.uk/allergy-overview
Details of all carbs/ fat/ gluten information is available if needed when your application has been received by HCL.
If you wish your child to have a packed lunch, we ask that it does not contain fizzy drinks or sweets.
Due to pupil allergies, St Philip Howard is a nut free school.
Free School Meals
Every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receives a Free School Meal (Universal Free School Meals).
However, additional funding could be available for you and School.
Children in Year 3 to Year 6 may also be eligible for Free School Meals
