School Houses
Within our school we have 6 school houses. As a school we wanted the children to have ownership and be able to relate to their house teams. They had a project to go home and research someone who they considered significant to history, what Catholic Social Teaching value, school value or learning attitude they related to. Mrs Waugh then narrowed it down and as a school we voted for the people we wanted as our houses. The chosen house significant people were:
St Carlos Acutis - Faith
St Tereasa of Calcutta - Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
St John Paul the second - Dignity
John Muir- Care for Creation
Rosa Parks- Dignity
Queen Elizabeth the second- determination
