Rainbow - Week 10- In Every House in Every Street

 The week ahead

This week, our topic book will be In Every House In Every Street, and in Drawing Club we will be exploring the animation Trap Door. Throughout the week, the children will be using junk modelling materials to build their own houses and work together to create a model street linked to our topic.

In Phonics, we will be learning the sounds ‘b’, ‘f’, and ‘ff’. In Maths, we will be revisiting counting and focusing on its purpose — helping us find out “how many” and remembering the importance of the stopping number. We will also practise counting together beyond 20.

In RE, we will be learning about Mary and the angel, exploring the story of the angel visiting Mary to tell her she would be the mother of the Son of God, and thinking about angels as messengers.

On Wednesday, we will be taking an exciting trip to Stream Wood with our Year 5 buddies to explore nature in our local area.

A reminder that individual school photos will be taking place on Monday.
