Rainbow - Week 7 - The Supermarket

 Our topic this half term is Ready Steady Grow. 

This week we have been learning about the supermarket and how our food gets to the supermarket. ]

Throughout the week, the children have been taking a trip to our local Asda in small groups. They have had some qwuestions to answer as they look around the shop. They have also purchased some snacks that will be shared with the class.

In Maths, we have been looking at 1 more and 1 less. 

In RE, we discussed Lent and when this will be happening. The children had a go at writing their own prayer for Lent. 

In Drawing Club, our book has been 'The Giant Jam Sandwich' of which the children really enjoyed. We are trying really hard with writing sentences. 

In Forest School, we had a walk around our school grounds, looking for signs of Spring. Charlie found some daffodils that are almost ready to bloom. Isla-Louise found some red buds growing in the bushes. Rex found some green buds growing on the fruit trees. Milan said that the sky shows spring is coming, as the sky is so blue.
