Sunshine Summer Term Week 12 - The Lighthouse keepers lunch / Hello Lighthouse

This week we will be learning all about light houses. We will be reading stories based around light houses and learn about how they work to keep ships safe. We will also have a chance to try and make our own lighthouses in the forest and with the junk modelling / construction resources.

Our Drawing Club tale is Hansel and Gretel. The children are becoming more adventurous with their writing and it is great to see the progress they have made.

In maths we will be thinking about partitioning 5, finding a missing number and doubles. We are also hoping to play some Uno as part of our Fun Maths Friday.

In Religious Education we continue to think about how people all over the world are friends of Jesus.

On Thursday we will have our move up morning; the children will get to visit their new class / teacher that they will be joining in September.
