Sunshine Week 9 - We Sang Across the Sea

Our Drawing Club book for the week is The Night Pirates and we will be using our imaginations to solve some pirate problems. We continue to work on our independent sentence writing with capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.

We will be looking at the holiday photographs that you have been sending in and looking for clues to see if they were taken at home or abroad. We will see if we can find some of the places on our globe.

In maths we have started using the Rekenreks (a small abacus with two sets of 10  beads). The children are already using them very well, this week we will be thinking about comparisons; one more, one less, a lot more, a lot less or equal.

In Religious Education lessons we will be learning about St Peter and how he is a friend of Jesus.

In PE we will be practicing using the track ready for our sports day races next week.

Thursday morning there will be a stay and puzzle.
