Week 11 - Tadpoles Promise

The Week Ahead

We have lots of exciting learning and Easter fun planned this week as we finish the term. 

In phonics, we will be learning our very last sound of the year – 'ure'. We'll also be going on a tricky word easter egg hunt around school. 

In maths, we will be exploring doubles, thinking about how two equal parts combine to make a whole.

We will be visiting Stream Woods with our Year 5 buddies to look for signs of spring, and back in the classroom, we will be enjoying our Drawing Club book Rosie’s Walk and our topic book Tadpole’s Promise.

We are also excited to watch the Year 4 Passion Play to help us understand the Easter story, and in RE we will continue exploring the Easter story, thinking about how Jesus rose again. 

To finish the term, we will also be doing some Easter baking and Easter crafts.
