Week 13 and 14 - The Nativity

For the next two weeks we will be focusing on the Nativity story. In our Religious Education lessons we will focus on the shepherds visiting the baby Jesus in the stable. We will be acting out, ordering and retelling the story.

Our Drawing Club this week is 'Not Now Bernard!' and next week will be 'The Christmas Pine'.
We are concentrating on writing a simple cvc word independently.

Our maths will focus on shapes, circles and triangles. We will be describing them, comparing them and learning specific vocabulary related to these shapes. Towards the end of the week we will move on to positional language.

On Monday we have been invited to attend the dress rehearsal of the Year 2 Nativity Play.

This Thursday afternoon we are planning to have a Stay and Christmas Craft, next week it will be Stay and Sing - we hope to sing you a few songs and that you might help us to sing some and we are planning to make some Christmas treats that we can share with you.
