Week 3 - My Mum

The children are really settled now and are beginning to understand and follow the routines in the classroom.

This week we have our Welcome Services. Parents, carers and wider family are invited to come and see their children being welcomed into the school family.

Rainbow Welcome Service is Tuesday 22nd September at 9am.
Sunshine Welcome Service is Wednesday 23rd September at 9am.
Drop your child off as usual and then you can enter the school through the hall door.

This week our topic book and Drawing Club book is My Mum. We will be thinking about why our mums are so special and drawing our mums.

We start our phase 2 phonics this week so will be learning s, a, t. Phonics homework will be published on Google Classroom on Friday morning.

In Religious Education we continue to learn about God creating the world.

In maths we will be subitising 1, 2 and 3. This means knowing how many without needing to count.

On top of all these there will be PE, Forest School, Pen Disco, Understanding of the World, Expressive Art and Design and plenty of play.
