Week 7 Beach Holidays

What a busy week it has been, with our special visitor coming to see all our fantastic learning.

We have started to look at the Seaside. The children have enjoyed looking at each others photographs of them at the beach and on their holidays. There are still lots of children without photographs. 

Our Drawing Club book has been Pirate Pete. The children enjoyed hearing the different changes each day, as there are interchangeable parts. The children have been doing fantastic independent writing. 

In Maths we have been learning how to use a rekenrek which is like an abacus, but has only 2 rows of 10 beads. We have been comparing groups of quantities using the language, equal, more or fewer. 

In RE, we are thinking about important people, who do we think is important and why?

We had a visit from our buddies on Friday, we enjoyed playing in the garden and reading stories with them.
