Week 5 - Lost and Found

This week our theme is friendship and how to be a good friend. Our book is Lost and Found.

In Drawing Club we are reading Dear Zoo. The children have drawn the puppy and will be thinking about all kinds of pets. We also attempted to write our first word using sounds that we have already learned. 

In phonics this week we are learning more and d. At the end of this week we will have learnt our first unit of sounds. Any children that know s, a, t, p, I, n, m and d will take home a reading book with words in it. 

We have been thinking about God`s gift of creation in our Religious Education lessons. We talked about how we can be a good steward and look after the wonderful world God created. 

On Thursday it was Hello Yellow day and we all came into school wearing something yellow. Thank you so much for all your donations for the food bank. 

In our maths lessons we have been learning how 2 is made from 1 and 1,  and 3 is made from 1 and 1 and 1.
