English - How To Wash A Woolly Mammoth

This week, we have read the book 'How To Wash A Woolly Mammoth' which gives clear, step by step instructions.  We took turns at working with a partner; one person gave the instructions and the other person acted out the instructions.  We learned that it is very important that instructions are clear and detailed otherwise the reader will not know what they need to do. 

Art - Studying an artist, James Rizzi - Street View

This week, we looked at work by the American Pop Artist, James Rizzi.  Much of his work depicts streets and buildings in New York.  We looked at the colour and detail of his vibrant artwork.  We selected one of his paintings and drew our own version into our sketch books using pencils.
